No more caregiver watching just you alone in the bathroom. Many different brands of shower wheelchairs will be able to be used for other tasks, such as fixing potties below; this will remove the need for several wheelchairs in the house.

When people convert their house for handicapped use they fix in showers that are suited for rolling in a wheelchair to take your shower. You will find that many shower wheelchairs come with other usages and will remove the need to have more than one wheelchair in the house. You will need to take note that electric motor wheelchairs can not be used as a shower wheelchair since getting the wheelchair wet can affect the power unit. Having a separate portable shower wheelchair in which the person can use the bathroom on their own is nearly a necessity if they regularly use a motorized chair for other chores.
