Gabby Logan Becomes Vice President Of The Disabilities Trust
Gabby Logan (formerly Yorath) is possibly most recognised for her role as a BBC Sports commentator and former international gymnast. She has now taken on a new role however, as vice patron for The Disability Trust a charity for people who have learning and physical disabilities in the UK.
Gabby embarked on the new role earlier this month and has been a keen supporter of The Disability Trust for many years leading up to her appointment. She first became acquainted with the charity through her mother who has been on the board for the Trust for almost ten years.
Before becoming the vice patron Gabby had hosted a range of fundraiser events such as the golf day that her husband also helped with. Her new role will see her becoming involved in many more fundraising events and raising publicity.
Gabby has admitted that she is, 'delighted to have accepted the role of vice patron,' for The Disabilities Trust. As the charity is very important to her.
The Disability Trust provides many services in the UK to people suffering from a variety of brain disorders, physical disabilities and learning difficulties. The Trust aims to help with rehabilitation, care and providing support to over 850 people at present.
